Of the several forums that are relevant to say that google will remove google pagerank in webmaster tools but the google pagerank on the toolbar will be maintained until a certain time, Google would have a rating system, it could be a while google pagerank deleted but will appear a new ranking method on a google blog / website.
There are some things that might happen if the google pagerank remove goole toolbar and change on a large scale method of Ratings:
