Hello Friend,
This week our topic is Branding. You may have questions on how you can build a strong brand. How can you intentionally create a consistent vision for how people think of you and your company, without having a corporate advertising budget?
Certainly a large business can afford to put their time and energy into just branding. But a small business however, needs to focus their main attention on building sales today and branding for tomorrow.
If you're spending money on advertising, your goal is to get responses. These responses can be email sign-ups, sales or phone calls. However, branding alone doesn't create sales, so it just isn't enough for a new small business.
So why don't we change your aim? Aim for sales and reap the benefits of branding as a side benefit. Research has shown that people who see an ad again and again with a variety of different media formats are more likely to buy.
For example, imagine if someone sees your Google AdWords ad when for information on a related topic. Later they see your business article on an industry leader's blog. Then finally they see your banner ad on a related and relevant site.
By now, you've built up so much credibility just by appearing multiple times in different media that they're likely to click just out of curiosity.
Stick with us this week to learn more.
