Hello Friend,
Benjamin Franklin said, "in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." Fortunately he lived long before Google existed, because we can now add "Google algorithm changes" to that short list. Yes, Google has recently changed algorithms again, actually not once, but twice.
Google snuck in a change to the Panda update and further tightened the rules with it. Just days later, Google introduced a new animal to the equation with the Google Penguin. In fact, Google's Matt Cutts, posted a picture of a Panda and Penguin on Instagram to signify this change.
With any change, website owners always wonder if and when their websites will be hit. Good Search Engine experts are doing massive amounts of research and education. Some sites will be hit unexpectedly, from past activities.
Sadly, some so-called SEO experts used techniques on client sites that were not in accordance with Google. People then learned these techniques that were flawed and thought they were good. Google has recently been able to modify their filters to start cracking down on this behavior which has made so many site owners suffer.
However, on the plus side, you can always improve your rankings. And a great many have benefited from these changes. If you are doing white hat SEO, you will have much less to worry about, in fact white hat is the best way to stay within the Google's guidelines consistently. Today we have more information to help you stay on target and help your SEO improve.
